Photoimpressions of Salute 04
Here are just my pictures and comments from Salute 04 in London
First view when entering the Olympia center
A few looks down form the first floor to the groundfloor
A blast from the past, nice looking fight between chinese and russians in a fictional 1920s setting (SouthLondon Warlords)
Cant remember who maned or built that table but again a nice train :)
Battletech at its finest. Clans invading a Inner Sphere Outpost (Lords of the Battlefield)
40k sized traitor warhound titan from forgeworld, the little guy next to him is a winged hive tyrand
More fine stuff from forgeworld, Tau Barracuda, next to it a parital shot of a imperial Thunderbolt, and on the lower floor a Valkyrie
What absolutely noone needs, a multipart 6mm Space Marine. :)
Forgot to buy mine, and in the afternoon there were none left.
Probably the most impressive display of the show. Operation
Epsom in 1:300 scale (Southend Wargames Club).
Here a look from the british side, the germans are lurking beyond the little
rise way on the other side.
More shots from operation Epsom, this time the german side. Panzers of the 12th SS Division took up position at a small hamlet.
Demo table for WARMACHINE from Privateer press.
Wargods of Ægyptus from Crocodile Games. Got a look at
the Rulebook with my name in it.
Hope that it arrives sometimes this year. :)
Timecast Buildings. 6mm to 15mm. Very nice and reasonable priced.
Heresy, known for big demons, didnt disapoint the visitors.
Urban War from i-Kore
Available in October
Graham Stenning (left) and Ben Brownlie (right) locked into
lethal combat at a Void demo table.
The game ended inconclusive with Ben leaving, he says it was to spare Graham
the shame of defeat, while Graham insists Ben just ran away before he could
finish him.
Guess there is a grudgematch comming up soon.
Ben's Viridians at the beginnig of the game.
Denmarks own lovely Inge Mygind Jensen showing off her skills
with a brush and some paint at the i-Kore booth.
Here shown autographing a Celtos box for one of her fans.
Tom Weiss (right) shows some of his miniatures to Inge.
Both in discussion about pictures in the Coolmini or not book.
And this happens if you leave me unwatched wit a mini, a brush
and some paints for one hour. :)
Seems I still have some way to go to master Inge's skill in tartan painting.
And it sounds so easy when she describes it.
John Grant of i-Kore (left) still smiling (kind of) after having
to endure my questions for about 20 minutes.
Scottland's own (© i-Kore :) ) Dougie Hamill (right) sneaked into the
picture at the last minute. :D.
